Editing your Photos

After a successful day of shooting ,it's always nice to wind down by editing your photos. There are many different platforms available where you can edit your photos for free. If you edit your photos on your mobile phone, apps like VSCO and Instagram offer free filters for you to use. You can add filters, change the white balance and even add virtual grain to your photos through these apps. But these mobile apps shrink your photos to a size that are more manageable for mobile devices. This takes away from the quality when viewed on a larger screen, but allows phones and such to get the best version of the photo. If you want to keep the integrity of your photos and not have them downsized, I suggest using a website or software on your computer. There are free websites like Pixlr that allow you to edit your photos for free straight from your browser. Pixlr gives you access to everything the mobile apps have to offer and more. You can add text and soften up the image to make it look antique. All this is possible just by uploading your photo to the website. The only drawback is when it comes to saving your photo, if you don’t pay for the full version, the website leaves a watermark on the photo. If you want to edit your photos with no loss of quality or watermarks, I suggest you purchase Adobe Photoshop. For ten dollars a month, you can have access to the best photo editing software there is. Photoshop can do everything under the sun when it comes to photo editing. You name the feature, and more than likely than not you can do it on Photoshop. You can use this software to really play with your photos and make them your own. Photoshop is the premiere way to edit your photos, and if you're good enough, you can turn your hobby into a career
